Aching for fresh herbs? Plant Some At Home.

Author: Green Gardener

Save yourself a trip to the grocery store or local farmer’s market and do organic gardening at home. The herbs you grow at your home can be grown outdoor or even indoors. Even if you live in the city you will be able to enjoy the organic herbs that happily sprout in your indoor garden.

Herbs are meant to grow in the ground, but with the proper care and placement they can thrive in pots in your windowsill. Think about creating some organic atmosphere in your home or apartment by planting different colors and varieties of herbs.

Be careful not to plant too many herbs in one pot. You should allow four-square inches between each herb you plant. Use commercial potting mix when planting herbs. The minerals found in commercial potting mix cannot be found in the soil of your backyard. And, make sure to water your herbs regularly.
